Educational Videos for Patients and Caregivers
Luminations videos provide an engaging and memorable way to explain frightening and complicated scientific content to patients and their caregivers.
We are proud to be a Trusted Partner of the Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation (CCF). Even though cholangiocarcinoma is a rare cancer, it has many actionable mutations; so, for CCF, we produce Luminations videos to help CCA patients and their caregivers to understand the importance of biomarker testing. And since these biomarkers also drive other far more common cancers, where appropriate, we also produce pan tumor and provider versions of these Luminations, which CCF makes available to other organizations. This better leverages CCF’s grant funding, helping to reach a broader audience.
Stand Up To Cancer (SU2C) understands that if they want to accelerate the development of promising new cancer treatments, they must do more than simply fund collaborative cancer research; they also need a diverse population of cancer clinical trial volunteers. To help them in this mission, we produced 14 Luminations for SU2C as part of a campaign to dispel myths and alleviate fears about cancer clinical trials and explain various treatment types. Picking up on their brand cues, we also developed a custom look and character set for this initiative.

Increasing Awareness of Biomarker Testing
CancerCare has a giant library of text-based resources for cancer patients and their loved ones. The organization realizes, however, that the printed word doesn’t resonate with everyone; so we’re working with CancerCare to create a library of educational videos for cancer patients and their caregivers.
Building a Health Education Library for Cancer Patients and Caregivers
Crossroads4Hope is involved in an outreach program to encourage diversity in clinical trial participation; especially in the African-American community. We had already produced several Luminations on various aspects of clinical trials for Stand Up To Cancer that had been shared with Crossroads for their use. While these videos show a diverse array of trial participants, Crossroads approached us to produce a Lumination to help explain why diversity in clinical trials is so important.
